Bruno Madrigal's Rats

Encanto fics under one thousand words.

Bruno has a vision that the villagers' dislike of him (and his family's newly protective responses to such) will eventually lead to them turning on the Madrigals, and the Madrigals becoming the worst versions of themselves to survive.

To prevent this terrible future, he decides to try to make the villagers like him by finding a way to help out around the Encanto that doesn't require his magic. He finds more than he bargained for in the form of a merchant named Ayla.

Bruno remembers when he and his sisters got their Gifts. The day 'normal' went out the window for them forever.

The day he had his first vision.

The adventures of Lycan Bruno, as told through Incorrect Quotes.

Bruno's Gift has caused him a lot of problems over the years. He had good reasons to avoid using it for over a decade.

But it's not all bad. In fact, as Alma will soon find out, it can even be beautiful.
