1. Who we are

FicSpark is operated by the Fanfic Foundation (a non-profit initiative). “We” means the Foundation and its volunteers.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old, or older where local law requires (for example 14–16 in some EU countries). Keep your password safe. One person, one account. Don't impersonate others.

3. Your content

You keep the rights to what you post. By posting, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, format, back up and distribute it on FicSpark, including generating PDFs when you or (if you allow it) readers request them. You can delete your works at any time.

4. Fan works

Fan works are transformative creations based on existing media. Don't post content copied from others, including the source material itself. Rights holders can send a notice through our takedown process.

5. Rules

Follow the Content Policy, including correct ratings and warnings, AI disclosure, and positive-only comments.

6. Moderation

Moderators may hide content, record dings for confirmed negative comments, suspend commenting, or suspend accounts. We'll tell you why, and you can appeal.

7. Reader support

Optional gifts between adult members are thank-you gifts to the creator. They are not a purchase of any work and grant no rights or access. Payment processing, payouts, refunds and taxes would be governed by the processor's terms and our future support policy.

8. No warranty

FicSpark is provided “as is” by volunteers. We do our best to keep your work safe, but please keep your own copies (that's what the PDF export is for).

9. Changes

We'll announce material changes in advance.
