Lunia Region Pokedex

Chapter 2: #???: Wilyote

(HUNTER FORM)

Shiny: Grey and white with red nose and feet. Yellow eye becomes white, orange eye becomes green. Scarf becomes black.

Evolves: From Dustpup (at least Level 28 while in Melody Desert)

Can Be Found In: Melody Desert

It prides itself on its intelligence, which it tries to prove by running down and trapping other Pokémon. It will get so caught up in its chase that it will eat and sleep very little until it succeeds. It has an intense rivalry and obsession with Roderapter. When its hunger becomes too great to ignore, it becomes absolutely ravenous.

It has an antisocial disposition, but has been known to have a soft spot for and occasionally take a mentor-like role to Dustpup. It loves to show off and be praised, especially when it comes to matters of skill or trickery. Trainers should be warned that it will use sleep-/food-deprivation as personal motivation.

(INVENTIVE FORM)

Shiny: Green and black, with a white eye and a green eye.

Evolves: From Dustpup (at least Level 28 while holding Acme Catalogue)

Can Be Found In: Unavailable in the wild

It is the most energetic of the Wilyote, often hopping around and yipping. It is known for hoarding, blowing things up, and disobeying its Trainer in favor of its own plans. It is arrogant and almost dangerously curious, but has true genius that can be great if let to run free — but perhaps not too free.

It is very physically affectionate and loves being pet or cuddled. This can be something of a bad thing, considering its fur is largely made up of metal. Its psychic abilities are strong enough to warp reality, but it has very little control over this, often leading its power to turn against it. The red on its body glows when it's excited.

(DETERMINED FORM)

Shiny: Brown and darker brown, with solid white eyes, a red nose, and red feet.

Evolves: From Dustpup (after being Revived in-battle after using the Move 'Self Destruct' ten times — not necessarily in a row)

Can Be Found In: Melody Desert

Even being burnt to a crisp can't make it give up. It is obsessive and stubborn, not surrendering until it quite literally has no other choice (and sometimes not even then). It will ignore pain to a dangerous extent, and Trainers should be warned to double-check that it is actually still okay to keep going.

It likes to stare at shadows, stars, and fire. No-one is certain what it sees when it does, but whatever it is seems to calm it like nothing else can. Though aggressive at first, it is actually quite social, forming close bonds with those it cares for. It loves like it does everything else — fiercely and devotedly.
