Summary

Incorrect Quotes with Alma, the Triplets, and the husbands before the movie.

The conclusion to my Incorrect Encanto series!

Chapter 1: The Dating Saga

Agustin, pretending to joke: So when are you going to go out with me?

Julieta: I don't know. When are you going to ask me to?

—

Felix: And you just ran away?!

Agustin: I didn't expect her to flirt back!

Bruno: Hey, Agustin, are you free on Friday? Like around eight?

Agustin: Yeah.

Bruno: And you, hermana?

Julieta: Umm... yes?

Bruno: Great! Because I'm not. You two go out without me. Enjoy your date!

Julieta: Did he just–

Pepa: Since we're in a relationship now, your clothes are my clothes too. Don't ask me why I have your shirt on, this is our shirt.

Felix: Fine, but when I come strutting in with your fuzzy socks I don't want to hear shit.

Pepa, drenched with rain: You know you're talking a lot of shit for someone wearing so many metal buttons and hair clips.

Well-dressed Villager: ....

Felix, watching from afar: [points at Pepa] That one, I want that one.

—

Pepa: Would I rather be feared or loved? Easy, both. I want people to fear how much they love me.

Felix: I love how much people fear you.

Pepa: ...

Pepa, pointing at Felix: This one. I want this one.

//Julieta and Agustin are flirting with each other yet again

Felix: And you two are sure you're not dating?

Julieta: 100%

Agustin: Of course not! Why would you think that?

Felix: I wonder why that possibility would even cross my mind, Agustin. I fucking wonder.

Julieta: I’m in love with you.

Agustin, chuckling fondly: We called off the prank war already, remember?

Julieta: I know.

Agustin, panicking: Ah. Okay. Um. Cool. Neat. Very cool. Cool. Cool. Coolcoolcool–

Chapter 2: The Responsible One

Alma: I left instructions for everyone while I'm gone.

Pepa and Bruno: Ours just say "Ask Julieta first."

Alma: I want you to apply it to every possible situation.

Chapter 3: He Totally Did Stuff Like This As A Kid

Bruno, singing: ♪We don't talk about Bruno-no-no, we don't about Bruno!♪

Bruno: BUT! ♪It will be your wedding day (wedding day), and not a cloud will be in the sky (no clouds allowed in the sky), but then I'll walk in with a mischievous grin (THUNDER!)♪

Pepa: Mami! Bruno's scaring me!

Chapter 4: I Really Don't See Her As This Bad, But It's Funny

Villager: How many children do you have?

Alma: Biologically or emotionally? Because there is a difference.

Bruno: Mamí...

Alma: Kidding!

Chapter 5: A Bad Idea

Bruno: This is a bad idea. This is a really bad idea.

Pepa: Then why are you coming along?

Bruno, in his head: So when everything goes to Hell you aren't the one blamed.

Bruno, out loud: Someone has to make sure you get an arepa when you get horribly injured, don't they?

Pepa: If I needed someone to do that, I would've brought Julieta.

Bruno: If Julieta knew we were doing this, we'd already be trying to explain to Mama why we shouldn't be grounded for the rest of our lives.

Pepa: ...fair.

Chapter 6: A Handful

Villager: Man, they look like a real handful. How do you deal with them?

Alma, watching Julieta screaming, Pepa setting things on fire with lightning, and Bruno choking on air: I don't know either.

Chapter 7: Seriously, He's A Prophet

Bruno, to his rats: Then either Sonic is a god or could kill god, and I do not care if there is a difference.

Pepa, overhearing: Who could do what now?

Bruno: Sonic– Oh, right.

Bruno: I'll explain in a few decades.

Chapter 8: That's Rough, Buddy

Bruno: I think I'm starting to strongly dislike some people in town.

Pepa: Seriously, all you do lately is bitch.

Bruno: I happen to think I bitch the perfect amount for someone in my situation.

Pepa: And what situation is that?

Bruno: [opens front door]

Villagers: DOWN WITH THE CURSE GIVER! [throw food and a few boots through the entrance]

Bruno: [shuts door]

Pepa: ...okay, fair.

Chapter 9: Sim

Bruno, yelling at the sky and brandishing a broom: If the conspiracies about life being a simulation are going to be true, WHOEVER'S CONTROLLING MY SIM I JUST WANNA TALK.

Julieta: ...

Julieta: Mama, I think you need to make a rule about how often Bruno's allowed to have visions!

Chapter 10: A Prank That Only Makes Sense Decades Later

I just imagine Julieta screaming into a cushion years later when rickrolling becomes a thing, remembering all the times Bruno got her like this XD

Bruno: Hey hermana, can you give me the opposite of these words?

Bruno: Always, Coming, From, Take, Me, Down.

Julieta: Never, Going, To, Give, You, Up.

Bruno: [laughs his ass off]

Julieta: What?

Pepa, shrugging: Don't look at me.

Bruno: [keeps laughing]

Julieta: ...Mamí, Bruno's scaring us again!

Bruno: [laughs harder]

Chapter 11: Robbery

Bruno: I’ve become a food dealer to the rats in our walls. They pay me with a bit of everything. Like shiny things, fabric, or pens.

Bruno: But recently they paid me with 20 gold coins they found somewhere. So I decided to buy them some more expensive food. They loved it.

Bruno: So they understand what to do. Give me money. I’ve probably racked up about 200 gold at this point. Is it morally wrong though?

Bruno: I mean, they’re the ones who steal the money from others. Or perhaps they just have a big pile laying somewhere. Should I keep on doing this?

Bruno, shaking his head: Listen to me, I sound like the start of a Batman villain.

Pepa: ...

Pepa, running off: Mamí!

Bruno: ...I'm grounded, aren't I?

Julieta: Big time.

Chapter 12: Poor Alma Is Traumatized :(

Julieta: What scares you guys the most?

Pepa: Werewolves!

Bruno: [laughs behind his hand]

Julieta: Really? It's sharks for me.

Alma: The unstoppable marching of time that is slowly guiding us all towards pain and inevitable loss.

Julieta: ...

Pepa: ...

Bruno: ...

Bruno, pointing at Alma: Mamí.

Chapter 13: Cassandro

Bruno: I have a bad feeling about this, hermanas.

Pepa: Oh don’t worry, you’ll be fine.

Julieta: Yeah, what’s the worst that could happen?

Bruno, being bailed out of jail the next morning: Why doesn't anyone ever listen to me? I LITERALLY SEE THE FUTURE.

Pepa: Well, you could've warned us.

Bruno: [eye twitches]

Chapter 14: Totally Happened At One Point

Bruno: This is a very powerful artifact. You’d be messing with forces we don’t really understand.

Pepa: ...That sounds like a dare to me. I'mma touch it.

Julieta, rubbing the bridge of her nose: Dios mio.

Chapter 15: Award

Bruno: Oh, hey, here’s my award for the most complaints from the villagers!

Julieta: That’s not an award, it’s an angry letter from Mamí.

Bruno, hanging it on his wall: Well, it has the word ‘most’ in it, so I’m calling it an award!

Chapter 16: Bad Reputation

Robber, threateningly: I’m gonna kill you.

Bruno, very Done With This: [gestures towards the general populace of Encanto] Get in line!

Chapter 17: Experience

Bruno: Mamí likes to say "you can be part of the problem or part of the solution", but I happen to know from experience that you can be both.

Chapter 18: Timing Is Everything

Julieta and Pepa: [do something stupid and get in trouble]

Bruno, exasperated: I warned them. I always warn them. But do they listen to me?

Bruno: No. They don't.

Bruno, suddenly chipper: And why would they? It's not like I have any more experience than they do, and my life isn't particularly better than theirs. It's way worse, actually.

Bruno, lightly: There's really no reason I could think of for anyone to ever take my advice. Well, there is one, I suppose...

Bruno, scowling: I. Can. See. The. FUCKING FUTURE. Start listening to me or suffer the consequences.

Villagers, only seeing the very last part: [add fuel to the 'Bruno Madrigal is crazy and evil' rumors]

Chapter 19: Sarcasm Not Detected

Bruno, talking to a rat while hiding in a crate: [whispers] I don't think they even realize I didn't have a prophecy and was just being sarcastic.

Villagers: Down with the curse giver!

Bruno, muttering: Wasn't my fault it came true anyways.

Chapter 20: I Actually Don't Think He Had It This Bad, But Again, Rule Of Funny

Pepa: Yeah, I don’t like people.

Julieta: Oh, well now that’s not fair, hermana. Have you met all of them?

Pepa: I’ve met enough of them. People. What a bunch of bastards!

Julieta: Bruno, help me out here.

Bruno: Yesterday, I warned a guy in town his wife was cheating on him. Today he threw rotten food at me to force me out of the market, 'because I compelled his wife to cheat'.

Bruno: I can't leave the house without a mob of his friends throwing stuff at me. I'm probably going to be stuck inside for the next week.

Julieta: ...

Bruno: But I can still back you up, if you want. Everyone says I'm great at lying.

Julieta: ...no, no, that's okay. I don't think I'm winning this one anyways.

Pepa: You aren't.

Chapter 21: Why The Madrigal Family Is Banned From Church

I just feel like the supposed wording for Bruno's prophecy regarding the priest (all his hair would disappear) is a little harsher than for most. A small town priest and a supposedly cursed prophet being at odds works, right?

Well, that's the end. I hope you enjoyed 😊

Senor Flores: Jesus saves–

Bruno: Passes to Moses, SCOOOOOORE!

Alma, head in her hands: Every time. Every single time.

Julieta: To be fair, he did say he'd stop if Senor Flores agreed to stop saying he's possessed.

Bruno, standing on his seat and yelling through cupped hands: God will die in three years! Creepy prophet Madrigal says so! Extra, extra, read all about it!

Pepa, grinning: And besides, it's free entertainment.
