"He lost walking privileges," Hefty replied in the nonchalant way only a Smurf who has had a very long day can achieve.

"Don't be a Jokey about this," Brainy said...

"Did'ya just use my name as an insult?"

...having completely forgotten that Jokey was present.

"Uh, yes?"

"Awesome!"

Luckily, Jokey was Jokey.

That was so heartwarming! The safe harbour that vanity provides for grouchy is so smurfing lovely. Also I in madly in love with this way you gave vanity to interact by making another Smurf he can look into the eyes. This needs to be canon.
