Chapter 4: Parkour!

"Parkour!" the man in Bruno's dream-vision shouted. He then proceeded to do some of the most spectacular jumps and flips Bruno had ever seen.

"Parkour!" Bruno shouted, jumping off a chair in the kitchen, much to the confusion of his sisters and Mamí.

"It's called parkour," Bruno told his rats, teaching them to jump and flip around his room.

Guess all that parkour practice finally paid off, Bruno thought to himself when he moved into the walls full time, leaping between support beams with ease.

"How are you this nimble??" Mirabel yelled incredulously, chasing after him. "You're fifty!"

"Parkour!" Bruno replied, disappearing further into the darkness that was the world behind the walls.
